TJFF Opening Night

Official Vehicle of the TJFF

Yorkdale Lincoln is proud to announce we are one of the many amazing sponsors of the TJFF and the official vehicle sponsor! On opening night, we provided TJFF with a Lincoln Aviator as the shuttle car for those in attendance to travel from their hotel to the screening venue. The Lincoln Aviator was chosen because of its exceptional ride comfort and interior room, making it comfortable for all passengers.

Opening Night

Opening night of the TJFF was held at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema and was met with an amazing turnout. We saw what was nearly a full theatre with individuals eager to preview the first film, The Man In The Basement. With outstanding performances by Bérénice Bejo and François Cluzet, this film tackles the timely issue of antisemitism in a gripping and emotional way. The story follows a Parisian couple who unwittingly sell their basement to a Holocaust denier, causing their world to slowly fall apart as he infiltrates their lives. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of standing against hate and cherishing family bonds. This film is an absolute must-see that will leave you moved and reflecting long after the credits roll.

Yorkdale Lincoln in the Community

We are so excited to be further expanding into the community and connecting with more individuals and businesses in our local area, and sponsoring the TJFF was something we were looking very forward to. Our involvement in the TJFF not only provided a luxurious and comfortable transportation experience for attendees but also allowed us to contribute to the overall experience of the festival on opening night. We were excited to see the Lincoln Aviator serve as a comfortable and stylish form of transportation, enhancing the festival’s atmosphere and creating lasting memories for the moviegoers.
